In today's 1st reading from St. James (2:14-24, 26), those who claim to be Catholic but live and act in other ways (certain politicians know who they are!)...St. James has a nice label for you:
"What good is it, my brothers and sisters,
if someone says he has faith but does not have works?
...Do you want proof, you ignoramus, that faith without works is useless?"
In other words...don't say you're Catholic and then go and support abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, human cloning, 'gay marriage', etc... You're an IGNORAMUS according to St. James.
