WHY can't Catholics (especially priests) grasp this fundamental issue???
Here is a quote from a priest in a RI newspaper recently.
"Just very recently, I came across a campaign badge that I found quite insulting. In the familiar colors of red, white and blue, it stated" 'Vote Catholic-Not Kerry.' As a Catholic, I was insulted to think that my vote should only be about what I am against, and not for what I stand for. As a Catholic, too, I took strong exception to the assertion that there is only one way to vote....As Election Day approached, I will continue to enter the pollling place as an Irish-Catholic-Democrat...."

PADRE POINT: Today, over 4000 babies died at the hands of abortion. Tomorrow, another 4000 will die in the same way. By the end of the year, 1.4 million will have died from abortion.
YES, there's only one way to vote! VOTE PRO LIFE. No other issue makes sense without your basic right to life protected! Vote for the candidate that will try to save and protect innocent unborn lives, not ones endorsed by Planned Parenthood and leading abortion rallies in DC. Vote for the candidate that will appoint pro life Supreme Court Justices to change the law of the land. Cardinal Ratzinger said the following,
"Not all moral issues have the same moral weight as abortion and euthanasia... There may be a legitimate diversity of opinion even among Catholics about waging war and applying the death penalty, but not however with regard to abortion and euthanasia."
